Senior Consultant

Silvia Capezzuoli has been a senior consultant with IMA International since 2003. She is a social development specialist with over twenty eight years of experience including facilitation, training, coaching, research and programme management in more than 20 countries. Recent experience focuses on supporting knowledge sharing processes within organisations such as APEFE, AVERT and International HIV/AIDS Alliance. Longer term work includes institutional capacity development and programme support for FAO- and UN-supported projects in Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean. She has a particular interest in how individuals and organisations learn, embracing and promoting knowledge sharing as an integral part of her work. She is a keen believer in training of trainers’ methodology and has extensive experience in incorporating lesson learning and action learning as part of her approach. Silvia uses her excellent inter-personal, motivating and team-building skills to facilitate multi-cultural, participatory adult-centred courses, workshops and learning events. Past work includes project management, evaluations and policy support with the international NGO ACORD coaching and staff development with VSO training for the University of Sussex and interpreting for refugees and migrants for Brighton and Hove council.
