Organisational Leadership, Scheduled Course

Participants from Bangladesh, Sweden, Nigeria, Cambodia and Lao, People's Democratic Republic came together in Kuala Lumpur to immerse themselves in leadership – we explored questions like ‘what is leadership? What skills are involved? And how can we put those skills into our own practice? Each participant came away from the week with news skills, insights and with their own definition of leadership, a definition that resonated with themselves and one that would fit the time, place and circumstances of their work back home.

The workshop was a rich mix of presentations, discussions, case studies, live visits, training room activities, and had a wonderful social program. Together this and a group of excellent participants produced a rich and rewarding learning experience for everyone involved.

‘The high quality of IMA trainers, the well mixed methodology (plenary presentations, case-studies, field exercises, group work, etc) have greatly facilitated and enhanced my learning. I encourage all mid-level and senior managers to consider this course essential, and necessary.’
