Monitoring and Evaluating Communication Services

 Provide training around monitoring and evaluation of information and communication services. Particularly:


A basic overview of monitoring and evaluation concepts and approaches
 -  Developing impact indicators and means of verification for electronic information and communication programmes.
 -  Data collection methodologies: design and implementation of surveys, interviews, case studies, focus groups, and web statistics analysis
 -  Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
 -  Presenting M&E findings


Outline of the programme:

 -  Initial internal literature search, programme review, and consultation with participants.

3 day course covering:


 -  Anatomy of knowledge services and current M&E practices
 -  Indicator design and web-site indicators
 -  Survey design, analysis and reporting

 -  Interviewing and key informant techniques
 -  Conducting case studies
 -  Qualitative data analysis and reporting
 -  Stakeholder analysis
