Kuala Lumpur, November 2010

Monitoring and Evaluation, November Scheduled Course

The second Monitoring and Evaluation course for 2010 in Kuala Lumpur included participants from Cambodia, Nepal, Mongolia, Yemen, Jordan, Japan, Nigeria, Uganda and Pakistan as well as from Malaysia itself, and they represented an equally diverse range of organisations and programmes.

Through a highly interactive training programme, participants were introduced to a systematic approach to Project Monitoring and Evaluation which they applied to their own case-studies as well as to the M&E design requirements of a local NGO, Pink Triangle Foundation (www.ptfmalaysia.org). As usual, the course included a varied social programme, with ten-pin bowling, a weekend tour of major tourist attractions and a final dinner with traditional Malay cuisine and dancing, all of which provided plenty of opportunities for participants to relax and get to know each other better.
