Monitoring and Evaluation, June Scheduled Course

This is the second year Monitoring and Evaluation in Development Course has been held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This year participants from as far away as Panama, as well as from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sudan, Cambodia, and Yemen joined the programme. They represented a wide range of different organisations, including government departments, donor organisations, and INGOs and NGOs.

Participants visited a local NGO, shared their monitoring and evaluation experiences, took part in practical individual and group M & E exercises, and read articles and viewed videos related to their key M & E concerns. Participants expressed particular satisfaction with the interactive, flexible, and friendly atmosphere of the course and the way everyone was able to contribute to sessions. All participants returned to their organisations with practical work they had completed in the course that they could share with their colleagues.
