IFAD Rome asked IMA International to provide a 5-day Monitoring and Evaluation training course for staff from the Division of Monitoring and Evaluation Techniques at the Centre for Project and Programme Evaluation (CPPE), in the Office of Agricultural Economics at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Bangkok Thailand in late 2009.
Ten participants attended the workshops which were held at Kasetsart University. All sessions were designed to provide practical examples of the key building blocks used to develop monitoring and evaluation systems. The training was also considered an important opportunity for participants to listen to and learn about M & E in English, as well as to express their ideas and questions in English as the Division of Monitoring and Evaluation Techniques planned to provide services outside of Thailand in the future.
