IMA’s Project Manager Helena Raijas has just completed a two week Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) consultancy in Nepal. The Strengthening of Environmental Administration and Management at the local level project started its second phase in August 2008. Helena worked for the same project in 2007 preparing a GESI assessment report of the achievements and lessons learnt. The scope of the current GESI consultancy is to advise and facilitate the project team and other partners in developing the GESI Policy and Action Plan and monitoring the progress of the Action Plan. The consultancy will be altogether two months and shall be carried out in three or more inputs during 2009-10.
