At the end of October IMA delivered a new Team Event for Tthe Accounts Payable Team at FAO. The workshop has been developed in consultation with the team leader and FAO’s Management & Leadership division. It was also richly informed by a pre-course questionnaire that was shared with all members of the AP team and completed prior to the workshop.
The 1.5 days together proved to be highly engaging, dynamic and rich in learning, all 12 of the participants evaluated the ‘level of participation’ in the event as ‘excellent.’ During the event we explored the difference between a group and a team as well as exploring how this team could create momentum and direction while simultaneously enhancing relationships, communication and interpersonal relationships.
The event was held in Rome and away from the participants place of work which really supported the levels of commitment and focus by everyone involved. We are very much looking forward to working with the team again on Module II where we will go into more depth and build-upon everything that was covered during this event.
