Effective Teams and Leadership Development Tailor-made Course

We have just completed a 3-day Effective Teams & Leadership Development with The Brooke. The Brooke is the UK’s leading overseas equine welfare charity and aims to improve the lives of horses, donkeys and mules working in the poorest parts of the world.

This workshop built upon and developed the skills that were covered during an earlier program (Effective Leadership, May 2008). Directing the course was Stephen Creffield,  who had the pleasure of working with the Brooke team for the second time this year. There were 9 participants coming from England, Egypt, Jordan, Ethiopia, Pakistan and India.

During the sessions we explored what makes for an effective team, how to motivate and coach individuals within the team, practical approaches for giving and receiving feedback, and how to facilitate team meetings. The team left Brighton with a range of approaches, tools and ideas to take forward.

‘I was very happy with the course, it was lively, kept everyone engaged, I am now looking forward to seeing how it is used and applied.’

‘Excellent as last time, the trainer makes time to discuss individual questions and issues, he personalises the training.’

‘We valued the opportunity for inputting into the design of the course – it was relevant and we could all see how it could be applied.’
