(MTR) of Programme for Enrichment of School Level Education

We are providing two international consultants – Team Leader/Educational Expert and Team Coordinator/ Expert in Organisation, Institutional Development and Sustainability for a mid-term review (MTR) of Programme for Enrichment of School Level Education (PESLE) in India. The MTR will be carried out during March, April and May for the Aga Khan Foundation/EC. It will focus on achievements and outcomes as outlined in the programme objectives. The focus of the mission is to: Assess the development of quality replicable strategies to the mainstream educational system such as SSA and DPEP programmes; Assess the focus on disadvantaged groups in the project, with special attention on gender, caste, children with special needs, and minorities (tribal etc.) Assess the efficiency, extent and level of community involvement and its impact on school development processes. Assess PESLE NGO Partner’s progress with institutional and organisational development and resource mobilization towards financial sustainability, including the ability of the partners to function in a coordinated manner (teamwork). Assess the progress on the research agenda of the project.
