Environmental Policy
We recognise that in our day-to-day activities we will have an effect on the environment, and we are committed to reducing these effects wherever possible.
Our work is mainly office-based, and the main effects we have on the environment arise from using facilities (energy and water, and waste disposal) as well as using stationery. However, as we deliver training and consultancy all over the world, we also travel a great deal.
We have taken some steps to reduce the effect we have on the environment, such as being more energy efficient in the office, reducing the waste we produce, and in our choice of materials and suppliers.
We plan to:
- look at our options to reduce travel, particularly international flights;
- reduce the electricity we use by managing our lighting and equipment;
- manage waste correctly, reducing and recycling where possible, and getting rid of waste safely;
- use resources efficiently and reduce the amount of waste we produce;
- store documents electronically and otherwise develop new tools to reduce the need for stationery;
- work with suppliers to make sure they are acting in the best interests of the environment;
- reduce the amount of carbon dioxide we create;
- make sure all staff are responsible for working in a way that protects the environment;
- promote environmental concerns to our customers;
- keep to all relevant environmental laws, regulations and other requirements;
- develop a set of environmental targets and an action plan; and
- review this policy regularly.
We will aim to reduce waste, improve efficiency and save money. This will mean we are including good environmental management at the heart of our business activities.
