Coaching is the process of supporting you to make the most of your abilities and improve your job
performance. In a coaching session, an individual talks with a professional coach on a one-to-one
basis, to address a range of job-related issues, some of which may also include personal factors.
A professional coaching relationship helps you produce extraordinary results in your organisation,
in your career, and even in your personal life. Coaching will facilitate your learning on the job and
enhance your overall quality of life. Q. When Should I Use Coaching? You’re smart and successful and yet you feel that you are not performing as well as you could. Q. How Does IMA Coaching Work? Each client and organisation is unique, so we design and tailor coaching for your particular needs,
goals and objectives. 1. Apply online on our coaching page. Simply fill in your contact details and what you’d like coaching to help you achieve. 2. We will contact you if we need more details then choose a coach to match your specific needs. We will then send you your coach’s contact details, a copy of our coaching Code of Ethics, and a Pre-session Questionnaire for you to complete and return to your coach prior to your discussion. 3. You arrange to phone your coach, plan how you will work together and establish goals. 4. We will send you (or your sponsor) the coaching contract with the invoice for payment. 5. Once payment is received, the coaching starts at a time convenient for you and your coach. Q. Can I set up a coaching programme in my organisation? Yes. Many organisations are training their managers to be in-house coaches. We have the experience and toolkits to help you set up a successful programme. This unlocks the in-house potential for coaching to transform the way that managers carry out their responsibilities. Q. What are the Benefits for my Organisation? Have a broader and different perspective on organisational issues Many organisations are already using coaching as an important part of developing talent; in fact, a 2008 survey by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development in the UK found that 71% of UK organisations currently use coaching, whilst 53% believe that coaching by line managers is the most effective learning and development practice. The benefits are real. For example, when coaching is used as a follow-up to training, to consolidate learning, one organisation reported a massive 87% increase in the effectiveness of training, when compared to training alone. Q. What are the Personal Benefits? Imagine the benefits of having a professional coach who is solely focused on the goals you set yourself. Examples include: Q. About our Packages and Prices Our typical clients include a range from senior executives or high-flyers identified for leadership to aspiring leaders, managers and teams who work in the field and who need more support.
