IMA Coaching

IMA is delighted to offer a NEW personal coaching service to help individuals and organisations achieve their specific goals. IMA Coaching

Coaching is where an individual speaks with a professional coach on a one-to-one basis to work on any one of a range of work-related issues, some of which may also include personal factors.

We offer a range of coaching suitable either for an individual or for any organisation who wishes to provide coaching for several of its staff or to introduce coaching as a key management capability

Professional coaching can help people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, or organisations. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life.

Our coaches are professionally accredited, have many years experience of working at all levels in a variety of organisations and cultures and are looking forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals!

"It was very nice to talk to Sue. To be honest, in the beginning when I called her, I wasn’t so sure I needed a coaching session, but when we started talking about life and work, we identified many pressing issues. Then for one hour, we did some good brainstorming together and we even agreed that I will follow up on some problems.

It was a useful talk and I'd like to have few more sessions in the future."

Yodgor Faizov, CEO, Aga Khan Foundation, Tajikistan.

Q. What is Coaching?

Coaching is the process of supporting you to make the most of your abilities and improve your job performance. In a coaching session, an individual talks with a professional coach on a one-to-one basis, to address a range of job-related issues, some of which may also include personal factors. A professional coaching relationship helps you produce extraordinary results in your organisation, in your career, and even in your personal life. Coaching will facilitate your learning on the job and enhance your overall quality of life.
Our approach follows the International Coach Federation (ICF) guidelines. Our ICF-accredited coaches recognise that results are a matter of your intentions, choices and actions, supported by the coach’s efforts throughout the process.
In each session, you choose what to talk about, while the coach listens, makes observations, gives feedback and asks questions to guide the conversation. The coach helps you by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where you are now and what you are willing to do to get to where you want to be.

Q. When Should I Use Coaching?

You’re smart and successful and yet you feel that you are not performing as well as you could.
You have attended a training course and now want support putting the learning into practice
– often in a difficult climate.
You want to act in line with your values and desired results and need an impartial sounding board to explore your strategy.
You’d like greater well-being for yourself and others.
You want to work with others masterfully, and deal with conflicts and pressures effectively.
You need to manage different issues and operations at the same time.
Whatever it is that you want to work on, you and your coach can clarify the goal that you wish to achieve, and work together towards it.

Q. How Does IMA Coaching Work?

Each client and organisation is unique, so we design and tailor coaching for your particular needs, goals and objectives.
Coaching success is based on a relationship of trust, so before your first coaching session, you have an initial discussion with one of our coaches to talk through your hopes and concerns, and discuss the coaching framework. This will also help to ensure your coach is a good match for your particular needs.
Following the ICF Code of Practice, we consider ethical behaviour as essential in our coaching, and your sessions will remain confidential at all times.
Coaching works equally well by phone, in person or a combination of both.
